Voyage Advisory LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Voyage," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through voyageadvisory.com (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Personal information means information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with a particular individual. It does not include information that has been aggregated or deidentified so that it can no longer be linked to you.

This Site is intended for visitors in the United States and Canada. We do not direct the Site to individuals located elsewhere, and if you are outside the United States or Canada we ask that you not submit personal information to us through the Site. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Use, which govern your use of the Site.

1. What information we collect

You can browse the Site without giving us any personal information. We collect personal information in only two situations. First, when you complete our contact form or otherwise write to us, we collect the information you choose to give us, which typically includes your name, your email address, your company and role, and whatever you tell us in your message. Second, our analytics provider automatically collects limited technical information about your visit, as described in Section 5.

We do not buy personal information from data brokers, and we do not collect personal information about you from third-party data providers. Providing personal information to us is entirely voluntary, though if you choose not to provide it we may not be able to respond to your inquiry or evaluate a possible engagement.

2. Information you send us about other people

If you give us personal information about someone else, such as a colleague you would like us to contact or a person you refer to us, you are responsible for confirming that you have the authority to share it and that the individual has been made aware of this policy. We will treat that information in the same way we treat information you give us about yourself.

3. What we do not want you to send us

Please do not send us sensitive personal information through the Site. Sensitive personal information includes Social Security and other government identification numbers, driver's license and passport numbers, financial account and payment card numbers, precise geolocation, health or medical information, biometric or genetic data, racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, immigration or citizenship status, union membership, criminal history, and information about sex life or sexual orientation. We do not ask for this information, we do not need it to respond to you, and we will delete unsolicited sensitive personal information when we identify it.

Information you send us through the contact form or by email before we have a signed agreement is not confidential, and sending it does not create a consulting, advisory, or client relationship with Voyage and does not obligate us to keep it in confidence. If you want to share confidential or proprietary information with us, please contact us first so that we can put an appropriate agreement in place.

4. How we use your information

We use the information you send through the contact form to respond to you, to evaluate and discuss a possible engagement, and to keep a record of our communications with you. If we begin working together, we use your contact details to administer the engagement. We use analytics information to understand which pages visitors find useful, to diagnose problems, and to improve the Site.

We also use personal information as needed to comply with applicable law, to meet our professional and recordkeeping obligations, to enforce our agreements and the Site's Terms of Use, to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, and to protect the rights, property, and safety of Voyage, our clients, and others. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use it to develop or train artificial intelligence models.

5. Analytics and tracking technologies

We use a third-party web analytics service to measure Site traffic and performance. Depending on the service and your browser settings, it may collect your IP address, the general location inferred from that address, your browser and device type, the page that referred you, and the pages you view, and it may use cookies or similar technologies to do so. We use this information only to understand and improve how the Site performs.

We do not serve advertisements on the Site, we do not use analytics information for advertising or marketing, and we do not permit third parties to collect personal information through the Site in order to track you across other websites for their own advertising purposes. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings, and doing so will not prevent you from using the Site. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is no sale or sharing for you to opt out of, and opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control require no change in how we handle your information. Because there is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.

6. When we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share personal information only in the situations described here. We share it with service providers that help us operate our business, such as our website host, our email and analytics providers, and our legal and professional advisors, and they may use it only to perform services for us. We share it when the law requires it or in response to a valid legal request, and when we believe in good faith that sharing is necessary to investigate suspected fraud or a security incident, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Voyage or others. We may also transfer personal information to a successor or acquiring entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of all or part of our business, or bankruptcy.

We store and process personal information in the United States.

7. Career inquiries

If you apply for a position with Voyage or send us a resume, we collect the information contained in your application materials, which typically includes your contact details, work history, and education, and we use it to evaluate your candidacy and to communicate with you about current and future openings. We keep application materials only as long as we need them for those purposes and as required by applicable recordkeeping laws. Please do not include the sensitive personal information described in Section 3 in your application materials.

8. Email updates

If you sign up to receive updates, publications, or other communications from us, we will use your email address to send them. If you contact us or work with us, we may also occasionally send you information about our services and insights that we think will interest you. Every marketing message we send will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing [email protected]. Unsubscribing from marketing messages will not stop communications about an active engagement. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we will keep the minimum information needed to record your preference so that we do not contact you again.

9. Aggregated and deidentified information

We may aggregate or deidentify personal information so that it can no longer reasonably be linked to you, and we may use and disclose that information for any lawful purpose, including to understand how the Site is used and to improve our services. When we hold information in aggregated or deidentified form, we will maintain it in that form, we will not attempt to reidentify it, and we will require anyone who receives it from us to do the same. Aggregated and deidentified information is not personal information and is not subject to this policy.

10. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes described in this policy. We may keep it longer when we have an ongoing business relationship with you or your employer, when we need it to comply with our legal, contractual, professional, or recordkeeping obligations, when we need it to enforce our agreements or to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim, or when we need it to honor a preference you have expressed. When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or deidentify it.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their work. No website, email transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us, and you send it at your own risk.

12. Children

The Site is a business site and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding the personal information we hold about you. These may include the right to know what personal information we have collected, to receive a copy of it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to appeal a decision we make about your request. Where applicable law gives you these rights, we will honor them within the time the law allows. Even where the law does not require it, you are welcome to ask us to correct or delete information you have given us, and we will do what we reasonably can.

To make a request, email [email protected] and describe what you are asking for. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request, which may mean asking you for your full name, contact information, and a description of your relationship with Voyage, and in some cases for additional information sufficient to match you to the information we hold. We may decline a request where applicable law permits, and if we do, we will explain why. We will not treat you differently for exercising a privacy right. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, and in that case we may ask the agent for written proof of authority, such as a signed authorization or power of attorney, and ask you to confirm the request directly with us. We may decline a request from an agent who does not provide that proof or where we reasonably believe the request is fraudulent.

If you are in Canada and you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you may contact us to escalate your concern, and you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

14. Other websites

The Site may link to, or embed content from, websites and services that we do not operate, including client sites, publications, scheduling tools, and our profiles on social platforms. Those third parties may collect information about you for their own purposes. This policy does not apply to them, and we accept no responsibility or liability for their content, their practices, or their handling of your information. Please review the privacy policy of any site or service you use.

15. Governing law

This policy and any dispute arising out of or relating to it or to your use of the Site will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. Any such claim will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you irrevocably consent to jurisdiction and venue in those courts and waive any objection that those courts are an inconvenient forum. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the privacy law of the state, province, or country where you live, or your ability to contact the regulator for that jurisdiction.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the date at the top. The version posted on this page is the version that applies.

17. How to contact us

We welcome questions, comments, and privacy requests. Email is the fastest way to reach us and the best way to make a privacy request, because written requests sent by mail are forwarded to us and take longer to arrive.
